Standing Out...
The Rose...appears
to stand alone
a single stem
uniqueness shone
amongst the rest
she puts to rest
no other bloom
or bouquet scent
Only her....
Is all I need
her garden full
her call I heed
a whispered sweet
fragrant aroma
perfumed feet
no thorns to faux pas
Neither now,a single stem
companions tied
heartstrings amend
a shadowed past now left behind
look to the future,new set of eyes......
