Spin the Bottle
A night of drinking,
Playing "Never have I ever."
I walk in the room I see the face,
That haunts my dreams standing,
Before me taking my breath away.
I take a couple steps back as I,
Hear "Don't you dare leave you,
Need to quit running from me."
I smile back.
I'm caught.
So everyone ups the ante,
We play Spin The Bottle.
The bottle spins, spins, spins,
Lands on me.
The dare....Kiss someone you've,
Never kissed before but you've,
Always wanted to.
I grab your hand and we stand up.
Your standing in front of me,
I've always wanted you but,
I've always been so scared,
So I just run.
Then I hear you say,
I'm not running from you.
I'm all yours, I've always been yours.
We kiss tenderly as I pull,
You towards me holding you close.
Then I hear whooo it's about time!!!
What was this planned??
It's the only I could stop,
You from running away.
I'm not running, I'm home!
We've been together for 20 years,
