Love Poem: Sparks of Love Are Disappearing

Sparks of Love Are Disappearing

Why's it so hard to dissect
All the love care and respect
That I've shown you through the years
It's like they just disappear
Every time you look at me
It drains me emotionally
Because I can never find
The love back that used to shine
Now it's dull and burning out
It's like we have hit a drought
A dry spell I can't explain
Is my heart being used in vain
You don't feel the same way
As you did when we first met
What made you lose and forget
The sparkle we used to give
Everyday we planned to live
In a peaceful loving place
Now all I see on your face
Is a blank stare of expression
Maybe it's time for a lesson
To leave you alone awhile
Until I can see that smile
Lighting up each time you look
Pulling me in with a hook
Capturing my heart again
I'm hoping it's not the end
To fix our love at any cost
And your passion won't be lost
