Love Poem: Souls Can Stand

Souls Can Stand

Souls Can Stand

A heart that stands-alone knows hurts that troubles brew.
If ever in a bugaboo, in need of loving hands,
Take leave of evil plights; each day begin anew.
On knees, bow down and praise the Lord; with vigor make your stand.

Wait not to seek your God; invite His love within.
When drifting on the wings of hope and trials overwhelm.
Remember, prayers unto the Lord build strength…raze sin.
Abide with His enduring love keep seeking Heaven's realm.

Depend on God to bear hope up and heal zest lost.
Dwell not on dreadful heartaches and mistakes on past paths trod.
Malevolence can muddle minds when faith is tossed.
Is hatred worth eternity exiled away from God?

Make life sublime, pure hearts; forgive. Then, kneel, and say.
“Oh Lord, today, come light my path; absolve this heart and stay.”
