Love Poem: Sorry

Sorry

You're not sorry for using me.
Do someone's feelings mean so little?
Take, take, take is all you do.
Innocent people are trapped in the middle.

You're not sorry for breaking my heart.
I was just a pawn in your little game.
Looking back on things, I can't see how
I fell for your charms that were so lame.

You're not sorry for the people you step on.
Children, me, friends, your own mother.
You wouldn't know loyalty if it stared you in the face.
You're dangerous to be a friend or even a lover.

I'm sorry I ever befriended you at all.
I wish I had never given you a chance.
Then you never would have pierced my heart
And soul with your evil song and dance.

I'm sorry you don't have a conscience.
Or that you don't have feelings for that matter.
It's sad to think at one time, I was in love.
And you made my heart pitter-patter.

I'm sorry you'll never feel my kiss again.
You lost that right when you did me wrong.
You're never going to be the man I want,
And for that reason I have to stay strong.

You're not sorry and sadly I am.
You have damaged me with all your sin.
You're not sorry and that's what I'll be.
Sorry that I think I'll never love or trust again.
