Sonnet No X

The whole day bares your wistful name my sweetest Berenice,
The sun's your face it's rays your hair when you wake up at dawn,
And clouds of black are as my soul was then when you were gone,
They cling and cover shiny star. Oh will they ever cease?

I hear the cars are passing by I look to see front seat,
Inside I clearly see us two enjoying, laughing loud,
I turn my looks away from cars into a nearby crowd,
And all I see are Berenices walking down the street.

Each thought I have go jumping on the loyal road to you,
Like Sisyphus of modern day I roll them from your name,
Then when I though I reached the peak they go back where they came,
And I am paused for a moment dear before I start anew.

The name of yours will find me still wherever I might run,
For love and misery I feel can never be undone.
