I thought I knew just what to do
I still can't believe you looked at me
I didn't know I'd be in love with you
It was a surprise I couldn't see
Then you left without a word,
When you left you took my heart.
It was a message I never heard.
I don't know if anyone will mend the broken part.
Please if you must go away,
And leave me here alone,
Think of me every day,
Maybe sometime, call me on the phone
Although I'll be forever blue
Just know that I'll always love you.
