Shakespeare’s lovely live on
Shaping our forms today.
Syllables ten, rhymed lines
Scheme of fourteen in all
Share sweet romantic dreams
Stilled in awe of its themes.

The Pleiades form was invented in 1999 by Craig Tigerman, Sol Magazine's Lead Editor. Only one word is allowed in the title followed by a single seven-line stanza. The first word in each line begins with the same letter as the title. Hortensia Anderson, a popular haiku and tanka poet, added her own requirement of restricting the line length to six syllables.

RULES:

1  New poem on the theme of  Poetry Forms beginning with S or T using the Pleaidaes form. 7 lines only with 6 syllables per line. Do not use a form that has 2 words. Date Your Poem, No Names, Check syllables with a syllable counter of your choice, put which one at the end of your poem. Write about a Poetry Form Startin With S or T using Pleiades.
