Sonnet 12

Shall we love each other to-day?
Th' morrow & us may not meet,
Should we love another this day,
Fate beknowth to thy sorrows keep.
'Tis faraway returned this prodigal spring,
Of thy heart which cannot be warmed,
Until th' crowning ice has given in,
To a season whom lost all its riches gone.
Should thee love again this day,
To hell wit' our borrowed divine decree,
Let us love each other to-day,
So that th morrow & us will surely meet.
