Solidarity Africa

The chains of our heart must shake hands
As metals and magnet clings so tight
Our fate clings to the marriage of our land
So as one body we need to arise and fight.

Shadows as soldiers arise our soul to scare
Masks as fire frowns at our hope to melt
Our image is ours not to flare
So as one band let's arise to defend.

Aliens want our aged pillar replaced,
Friends see our flag as fake
Ours’ to make our voice not disgraced
So we need to join force to decorate our cake.

Rodents without invade our green land
Foreign robes sigh at our precious gold
Ours’ to hug and kiss our identity card
So as a fence let's guard our field of gold.

The ingredients in our pot of soup are at variance
Members of our body stand as islands
Ours’ to spray our friendly fragrance
so we can build this tower as a band.

As broom sticks we need to glue together,
Dirt have risen to dent our hope,
Ours’ to sweep them out to yonder
So as one family we will live in a clean home.

This pot of soup must be cooked
Ingredients must live in peace as brothers;
Ours’ to make this family hooked
So our aroma of love can travel beyond our borders.

Our fatherland; built by the aged heroes
And fenced with the bricks of peace and dignity
Ours’ to protect and not to make it bunch of zeroes
With our hands soaked in love and solidarity.
