Softly the Hand of a Mother

Softly the Hand of a Mother

Softly the hand of a mother
touches with a smoothness deep
Love, pure love like no other
dark clouds make me weep

Wetness washes my face
her grace sets life aglow
No time, no other place
will replace the her I know

Soft sails on a crystal lake
sunny morns dancing in time
Beauty none can ever fake
melody within a perfect rhyme

Softly her shadow stays me
words , memories give joy
Losing her soon slays me
yet again her lost little boy......

Note: Recently mother was thought to be passing on but pulled thru.
She is as tough as nails. Yet as soft as silk.
A strange ability, unique quality but mothers the world over seem
to share that.
My first submitted write since my break.
Composed tonight and I hope it inspires others to appreciate the love that mothers give so very unselfishly..
