So Many Questions, No Answer

can you talk to me like we used to, can you smile at me when i don't seem alright?
can you tell when that's the case, or do i need to come out into the light?
do you see when my eyes are glistening, do you know I can tell when you're sad?
do you miss the things that we talked about, is it lame that I remember, is it bad?
can you tell me how you're feeling, can you search for truth in my shaking eyes?
can you look at me hard, and long to see, if I am really talking or just telling lies?
do you know that its what I'm doing, do you know I'm lying to hide all the pain?
do you see clearly now that I'm not with you, or is your vision clouded in the rain?
can you hold me for just one second, can you tell me everything will be alright?
can you see how much I think of you, can you see every poem is about you tonight?
do you know that I am losing my mind, do you ever think of what that means?
do you care about your life without me, do you know to pick up the tattered seams?
can you see how much I hurt inside, can you see how much I've hurt you?
can you tell that its not worth all of this, and yet here i am sunken into the blue?
