You are not here and yes I know
I should with all I am just let you go
But things as such are easier said then done
And so it's me that caught up in these emotions without a gun
But you seem to think I'm someone so fragile and that before your feet I will break
That even though I feel this way I can't move forward and that I will forever forsake
So you once again try to protect me
Instead of being honest with your feelings to me or yourself you shut your eyes and refuse to see
What's right in front of you
A friend who's willing to be there for you and listen
But you continue to choose to close me out ignore all to you I said before
Act like I don't exsist and slam that damn door
But then it hit me one day I realized
You are not that hard to figure out you can't keep things desguiesed
You are not completely worried about what she will do
If she were to find out I was still talking with you
You are not overwhelmed by what you may think I would expect of you
Or what exactly what I would do
No you are most worried about what you yourself would do or say
You know that your emotions will for surely get in your way
I believe this as much as I believe in the love we have everyday
So forgive me if I sit around think of you and pray
That maybe someday soon we can give us another try
But if we can't that's alright to however there's no reason for you to lie
Yes I know for now that we have said goodbye
