Love Poem: Smile

Smile

Smile

It open the way to a new beginning,
A life not meant to be
Paths unknowingly crossing
Unknown our destiny
As if a thief would return at nightA heart once covered by a cloud
Now glitters as pure gold
To place back what he had stole
As time had chipped away the pieces
And bitterness claimed my soul
I was awaken by a spark
That now engulf my soul
Restoring the joy within
Now a reason to begin
Choosing to end it never
A journey that will last forever
What is the question?
What did God say?
Little did we know?
That this would be our season
Our time to rejoice
As we approach God in submission
With just a little faith
God would grant us victory, as we bowed at his feat
For we had gathered our burdens and left them at his feet
God has delivered
He’s done what he said
Our latter now greater
Our hearts he’s made whole
Our lives complete
For Love feeds our soul
Long we had waited
Enough of ourselves
God brought us together
It was all in his plan.
Never thought I would find you
Even though you’ve always been there
Like a ship passing in the night
Like a eagle soaring in flight
You landed in the depths of my heart
A smothering flame gave life with a spark
My days are refreshing, my soul is alive
And all that it took was for us to
Smile!
