As darkness falls and others sleep
in moonlight, full and sleek
Internal emotions sick in my soul
and the dreams never come
Persistent wispers must always taunt
like the blowing wind outside
As sleepless demons slowly creeping in
through to emptiness... to my mind inside
Thirty minutes could be thirty years
and another hour has passed
and still, I fight this consciousness
of the vivd times of past
From front to back, side to side then
back to front my shadows roll
uncomfort in my memory
and even in this empty bed
I reach across to gain the memory
of your hair
i used to play with your hair
it brought me comfort
it brought me rest
it broguht me saftley
it brought me sleeping
like a lake of fluid smooth dreams
in this chamber room you'de keep
And so I sing this song of lonely nights forever
to pacify my mind
Then roll to the other side of love
where there is no one.
Beanteth these sheets I palpitate
those demons always participate
My soul tormented as I sink
from dusk to dawn and these hundred years
