Slender Shadow Dreams

Somewhere a slender shadow of a pretty lady
dreams of death and broken pieces of a dream.

Somewhere she knows love exist she knows
he doesn't believe in love.

He turns to dust before her eyes the dream dies
while the scent of his cologne stays behind.

Who believes in dreams anyway they are a simpler
way to pass the unreal day.

Life is much shorter than death.
Scars still rise from the last time.

A glass of water would be a relief
to wash away this new belief...

Of Shadow dreams slender touch,
a brush with Aphrodite lingers into
the next dream.
