Love Poem: Sleepless Nights

Sleepless Nights

We took one last shot at love—
She mysteriously vanished.
My mind became fragile,
My thoughts unsure—
I’ll wait for her in the moonlight.
Her voice whispers in my ear.
(The smell of her fragrance)
I felt her presence.
Have you ever made love
To a woman who’s love
Feels so pure?
I’m addicted to her love.
A woman’s love has no cure—
Freed into the world
Where the lonely walk in grief,
Searching for her love
But not wanting to believe.
The moonlight takes its place;
The stars shine like white diamonds;
The night whispers her name,
But this time I’m not buying.
