Skinny Dipping

Skinny Dipping in your love to gentle coos of mourning dove; (dreams that I’ve been dreaming of) while lying ‘neath the stars above. Love so deep, cerulean blue, dive in head first, this love ensue; dreams of hearts that touch anew make ripples in this brilliant hue. Love so warm like mineral spring that flows ‘round hearts as breezes bring effervescence to this fling as whispers from the heavens sing.
April 16, 2019 This poem was born when a friend mentioned diving head first into love; I immediately thought when you dive into love, you bare your soul and thus you are skinny dipping in love. Just a different take on falling in love.
