Love Poem: Skimmed Moonlight

Skimmed Moonlight

To see a woman's moon for light
when standing on her side
Was all my breath come stranded on
what I held back for died

And helped me see as frozen
while I watched her pass through time
And leave the way a moonlight
passes Heaven through a rhyme

And takes away our friendship
for what ever love was found
When knowing more than friendship
was this Cathy's moonlight ground

To tell me that my troubles
were just hair that that I mistood
When all my glances coming
were to make me want for good

And rush me to an equinox
that lambs would never run
When all the tides of Venus
kept me holding for the fun

Of all the creatures blowing
of a love that's meant to be
As the glow upon her forehead
passed me loving what's for me

And I said I'd always love her
for the time she spent with me
Even though I never knew her
for the long amount to free

And I stand upon the moment
for a loin to stiffen up
That my soul releases forward
for a face that blinds as cup

To take me to a world of love
that time and space command
When looking at a girl that way
to find a place to land
