Love Poem: Sins of Omission

Sins of Omission

When Christians get cold
as we sometimes will.
Needing a little encouragement
to get on up life's hill.

Around us we look
there hoping to find.
Just one fellow Christian
who will pay us some mind.

I seems most are too busy
with things all our own.
Laboring for the carnal things
instead of God's throne.

We say we're concerned
and I pray that its true.
But we often fall short
in the things we fail to do.

When our neighbor has fallen
or cold may have grown.
Let us show them God's love
that they won't feel alone.

Putting personalities aside
let us go in prayer.
Foregoing bruised feelings
but with genuine care.
