Sing Like a Dove

You may go to the sea if you feel you are slight In the light veil of blue like the dream of the night When the moon’s silver disc in the sky breaks on sea You may ride on the waves with the pulse of blue glee The moon dust of the mist in your breath makes you dance On the crest of breakers where you lie in a trance Like high swell of the waves in your veins blood will flow To your heart, in the gleam of the moon it will glow With the tune of the breeze in the air you will sing A bird’s song, it will take on its flight you on wing If you let your heart dance and you sing like a dove With the waves, you will know you have sunk deep in love.
