Love Poem: Simplicity

Simplicity

Simplicity, Oh how sweet you are.
Feel thy river flow into the thoughts
Not to overtake them, but to merely visit.
Give a sweet moment of rest.
Overflow into the deep crevices of complexity.
Fill them with cool refreshing peace.
Rhythmically, revisit the familiar banks
Gently wear away accumulated sediments.
Weary days are long past.
Simplicity, shine upon these eyes.
Show clearly what must be cherished most.
Enlighten the soul with wisdom.
Intensify love toward God and His creations.
Shine bright when life's distractions offer many paths.
Let love embrace thee, and be filled with joy.
Simplicity. Do you hear the cry?
Is it true? You do not exist
I choose simplicity, fantasy and all.
