Silhouettes In Moonlight

Silhouettes in Moonlight

Silhouettes in moonlight hide the hair snow white
living for the moments when love is feeling right
embracing like the dragonflies in heart or wheel in flight
reaching for an elder love that flourishes at sight.

Silhouettes in moonlight hide the hair snow white
fear the chilly winds of change, hold each other tight.
While on their milky tresses moonbeams silently alight
revealing souls of wonder and desires to unite.

Silhouettes in moonlight will be forever young
as ageless shadows cover, a second life’s begun.
Passion is the power that warms them like the sun,
yielding to the gentle night’s restrictions all undone.

Silhouettes in moonlight at seventy-one, eighty-one,
shapes in silver outlines as the bio clock outruns.
Love and devotion are still second to none
with hopes of togetherness in years to come.
