I lost you
Life spent all alone
Searching you.
I want to tell you
If I can…
You’re my light
You’re my sky -
On a passing cloud there floats a dream
Raining melody of memory -
Cadence of dream.
You would not know
Unsaid feelings concealed
When life becomes fallow
Searching the tapestry of youth
My tomorrow in your eyes.
Walking the last mile…
Too late to cry
Writing new sonnet of life.
Patina of pain
Remembering you in silhouette…
That’s what love is -
The reverie of belonging.
I would say
Don’t go away
Crumbling dreams
Tracing the footprints of togetherness
Trail of tear…
Closeness obscure.
Don’t burn my dream -
The flower in my heart
Till the end of time -
Time to write a new story…
