It’s a sad sight to see you broken,
Like I am broken-
It’s better to howl at the moon
Than to bury yourself in your room-

Like I am hurting-
It’s better to stop while we’re ahead
Than to lose ourselves, than to lose our heads-
It’s a sad sight to see you grieving,
Like I am grieving-
Over a love that could have been,
But had to let go of
For reasons unforeseen-
It’s a sad sight to see you mourning in your bed,
Like I am mourning in my head-
What can I say to make things better?
It’s best I let you mourn,
Than to try and make things better-
Than to try and make you see things my way.
