Shower Me With Your Love

Shower me with your love…

Observe pain as it streams from sky blue eyes;
burning and insuppressible, unshed tears
drench as transformation comes to pass.

Watch as it seeps from pores, releasing
poisoned beliefs, acrid thoughts, and toxic
misgivings, flushing fear and hurt from core.

As grief, sorrow, heartache and dismay are
squeezed from each cell of my being, remain, for
they will unfailingly step forth now to bid one final adieu.

Rain down on me as all is cast into oblivion…

Witness as jagged breaths and uneasy rhythm are
restored to deep and effective cycles; breathing
without hesitation, no longer an effort for
trust is emerging in realization that
love truly exists, devotion is more than an
unachievable concept, and loyalty is an inner
promise, a personal oath made with honor and
integrity, a determination to stay true, not some
façade or falsity spoken for outward approval or regard.

Hold on, for my smile has finally reappeared…

Then, nurture me and nourish my being, my soul… adore me.
Let me feel the warmth of your essence entwined with mine;
the tenderness of your touch as it soothes me into euphoria,
the softness of your lips tasting, caressing, lingering
until I am certain they belong to me alone.

In the comfort of your embrace,
this once-in-a-lifetime place where
serenity flows through me, enchanting me,
enticing me, thrilling me, imploring me…
my heart nearly bursts with rapture, longing,
and sweet ecstasy in this new-found
freedom and fearless expression.

It is here, in this moment, I finally lower my guard,
demolish all walls, for I know I am safe and protected.
I am yours, and eagerly share with you an untapped, yet
infinite, well of passion, love, affection, adoration,
devotion, and tenderness.

I will love you like I mean it, passionately and playfully,
honestly and joyfully, with fervor and fever, forever to eternity.
