Shooting Stars Are Wishing

Won't you take the hint?
Won't you hint me back?
I'm standing here in whiteness,
Are you laying there in black?
I'm climbing up your rope.
Don't let out, please, the slack.
I'm jumping over canyons.
Don't widen up the gap.

If shooting stars are wishing,
On comets then, I pray.
"Don't let her, God, go missing.
I'll kill myself that day."
Yes, that does sound drastic,
And I'll just say, "But hey,
There's nothing else to live for,
It's better off this way."

                                   To my Star.
