Shoot that Arrow

Love come find me, remind me, how it feels not to be alone,
Where are you? Be near me, I’ve done the work I’ve grown,
Has Love forgotten me, gone far away?
Did Cupid skip out and not want to play?
I know I’m deserving; I was willing to wait,
But twenty long years, Alone, aint great.

There is no denying, life has been tough,
I’m capable and determined, yet so had enough,
No Love, no warmth, no cuddles in bed,
Just hopes and dreams and wishes instead,
Come on cupid, this can’t be my fate
Shoot that darn arrow, and don’t be late.

Love come find me, you must be there,
Being alone, so long, just isn’t fair,
Have you left me forever, to be on my own?
Don’t say goodbye, to die all alone,
Somewhere out there, Cupid must be,
Come shoot that arrow, right into me.
