Love Poem: Shivers

Shivers

The wind blows colder
since you've gone,
The changing colors
faded, forlorn.

Winter's bite
whispers in air,
fills the void
that you left there.

The sun sets far
beyond the horizon,
it's fleeting warmth
lost in twilit erosion.

Glitters in the dark,
the clouds are tossed
and stars obscured,
by wind-blown frost.

Your memory alone
chases the chill
from within my bones,
knowing I will

See you again
when my time comes,
and two spirits divided,
rejoin as one.
