Love Poem: She's Here

She's Here

Window slightly ajar, zephyrs race across these misty window pains
A foreign smile breaches these steady lips as the weather begins to change
I know she’s coming by; I can smell her scent and see her shadow
Any minute I think, she’s gonna fill this dark night blue sky
Waiting just waiting till she brings her ease and love
Simultaneously singing, sending thousand hymns from above
So anxious to see my lifelong companion again
For I just love when she cleanses this world making her amend
Resting ever so pleased on this porch’s rocking chair I fasten my eyes
Slowly swaying back and forth I feel an old misty kiss on my cheek by surprise
Dazzled to feel moist touch gives me feelings of flutters
Just as she makes another soothing tune feeling these roof gutters
She makes this place worth while living my old mind thinks to itself on this perfect night
I love you girl and I’m glad to have you back in my life
Slowly I rock feeling this pleasant change
Slowly I rock feeling this pleasant rain
