Love Poem: She's Always On My Mind

She's Always On My Mind

She's Always On My Mind

I love you more today,
More than I did yesterday too.
And I'll love you even more tomorrow.
I'll even love you for a smile, it's true.

Were the words spoken to her,
It was so long ago in time.
My love for her still grows the same,
Even though she rests in a place of peace, I know.

But, still, she exists,
My love is still growing, for her, evermore.
In every way possible,
Her existence makes me grateful, for sure.

All I needed to do to see you,
To tell you those words I used to say.
Was, shut my eyes, and there you were,
Standing by my side.

Such beauty she carried and held,
Wow, you were something to look at too.
My heart races all the time thinking of you.

With eager thoughts rushing through my mind,
Thinking about making love to you.
Should I half feel ashamed,
My 'cheeks' are red blush, so blame.

But this was the beauty, my late wife,
She did bring to me.
Which, I thank her,
For lighting up my world upside down, see.

Her bright face is what I gazed at,
Afar,
But she started this love song.
