Love Poem: She Cries

She Cries

She’s crying for all the mistakes she’s made
Pain streaming from her heart
Hurt breaking her down bit by bit
Tears roll down her face

She cries for all the hurt she’s caused
Loneliness now her only friend
Anguish for the past and for the future that won’t be
Drops of sadness wetting her cheeks

She cries for being alone
Unable to carry the burden alone
She falls to her knees
Crying out to God for help

She’s hurting more than words can tell
Unable to utter it to anyone
For none will comprehend
Water streaming across her face

Surrendering to shame
Pain breaking her down
Unbearable misery tearing her apart
No more tears left to shed

She cries
She hurts
She longs
She’s alone

Succumbing to anguish
Bowing her head
No light breaking through the darkness
She cries

She’s crying out for help
Begging, pleading for you
To save her, to set her free
Tears welling up in her brown eyes

She’s reaching out to you
Don’t turn her away too like everyone else
Don’t act like you don’t care as you said you did
No lies, no tears, no cries

She’s begging for mercy
Don’t leave her alone in despair
Don’t turn your back to her pleas
Dry her tears with your love and care

She’s crying,
Her hands holding out to you
Take her hand, walk with her
Keep her safe from hurt and sadness

Through your eyes, her hurt can end
With your love, she can heal
Don’t shut your ears to her voice
Embrace her, keep her safe from harm

By loving her, she can recover
With your want, she can bloom again
Your touch can heal her wounds
Your sweet lips can dry her tears
