Love Poem: She

She

She’ll hurt you when the day is done
nothing's gained and nothing won
In a life of constant need
a hunger, void, can never feed

bring you empty to the end
stooped on knees to sore to bend
emotions feed the great facade
insanity from perfect god

break your will, scatter far
The Man you were the boy you are
nothing lasts from chemistry
lovers law of entropy

She’ll say it’s true, the best of lies
drown you in her alibis
sleep in peace while war is waged
between the sheets passion aged

plan the future for her own
dig up all the seeds you’ve sown
turn the fault for public eye
in your direction, make’ m cry

say she wants to know your “all”
For evidential court to call
Judge and jury justice law
for the witness, alcohol!

tie your rope too tight to bare
make boys flirt, and men to stare
with painted eyes, slips from Freud
tell you that your paranoid

hide a life she promised you
blame you that you never knew
manipulate the fat from gravy
with her breast and bouncing baby

She’ll buy a stone when you're deceased
cry in black for all to see
carve your name, then engrave
here lies, my helpless, little slave
