Shape

“On the faded canvas of love the shadow of the departed shapes the sad memory” – Quote by Poet In the summer of yearning melts my glacial heart, you float away far in the fervent flood and depart, away from the shore of my love’s seamless sea, at the end of my world extending to the infinity. As the spectrum of my rainbow dreams fades away, all the colors dissolve in the cauldron of my dismay. The illusive silver lines of hope I can’t hold, for the cloud drifts away in the storm cold. You’ve been so near once, but so very far now, your shadow I see afloat,(you won’t know how), on the cascading stream down my eyes, where in the drowned debris my love lies. You’ve taken away the sunburst dawn’s hue, have left no colors to paint my heart anew. As somber night spreads on my sky dismal drape, in my tear drop you’re defined in forlorn shape.
