Love Poem: Shallow Waters

Shallow Waters

Although she brings the seasons into change,
the change brings me into a seasonal brightness.
As my cheeks bloom into flush, my eyes follow
her to horizons of orange and yellow splendor.
We both use the longing days to brighten each
other a little closer to loves warm grip. As angels
sing, with the love I bring, the pendulum swings for
you and I. As the tide will turn, as our eyes
yearn, to make it to one last slow dance.
So take my hand my love. Follow me into the
shallow waters of a night to remember. Sing
to me with everything you have. Let me lavish you
with red rings of sinful love. We can ask for forgiveness
on a colder day.
