Shadows

In the twilight hour waning outside my window, opening to the hues of the eventide horizon, the sky shimmers with the last glorious glow of the sun setting at the edge of the indigo night. Its cascading cadence caresses your face with the turquoise touch of sensuous splendor, we carried crimped in our entwined hearts as the seraphic shadow of togetherness. I haven’t counted the steps we sauntered on the sliding sands spread on the shore of time, but the frilled footprints I feel facsimiled in my mind, yours beside mine, etched side by side, all the way, where we are now in the serene shadow of eternity. As the untamed winds of desire drifts away the mystique mist of opaque obscurity, the pearlescent streams of amorous sunshine surge with the mesmeric momentum of fiery fervor through my window open to the sky, and drape your eyes with the tapestry of trance, where I find in the azure firmament, my fervent longing lie fascinated in the gilded shadow of gold-lined cloud. In the quietude of the falling night, our intertwined shadows sail spellbound through the sequins of the silver moonshine. My aloneness finds wings in the desolate domain, and flies in the beguiled breeze of euphoria toward the end of our ebullient time, where you see me still in the shadow of silence.
