Shadow Memory

Why did you stop loving me?
Did we not say that always forever we would be?
When did it come to this?
Where did we fall and miss?

I cannot stop loving you
it is making me so blue.
Our love was so true
two hearts knew the rule.

I am here and you are there
I am alone and you are gone.
It hurts so much this ache
my life feels as though it crumbled
in an earthquake.

You came along and said put down your toy.
I followed you a new joy I found in that boy.
I turned around and we were fifteen
I looked back again and we were in between.

No joy now and I do not have that boy.
He left just the other day when I turned around.
Said he was not playing house no more found a new toy.
I spun around and spanned through the memories.

My tears dropped in large puddles of jellies
my heart it bled the color of crimson rose.
Confused and bruised emotions swing like willows
memories streak into my minds projector.

Showing me, he was the best as an actor
he always new his lines and did them so fine.
I was convinced of his love for me
he spoke the sonnet of the grandest chichi.

All I have left of this relationship is a heart
that bleeds red drips the color of a crimson rose.
To the tune of a shadow memory stuck in play
on the minds broken projector.
