Seventy-Eight

I used to play with my bricks, creating walls that surrounds me Hoping that this will protect my inner peace of this troublesome world Hand by hand until I could no longer see, The ground part of my castle walls, outreach by the bold. I had to even dig up the surrounding dirt to create myself a moat. Which this dirt was used to fortify my walls. I paid no attention to whoever arrives for I have fought. For years and years, I made a steel from my balls. I was always prepared for the unknown war For everyone may suddenly come and take what belongs to you. Even your secrets will be taken, which will leave you a scar I’ve been torn down before, and I won’t let it happen with you. I’ve welcomed only a few, due to drought of summer People tends to stab you everywhere now a days But I’m done with that chapter of the old days My time of building walls are now over It’s time to open our eyes and start creating our own path I will no longer hide in shadows, it’s time to prove ourselves Let the world know that we’ll create our own cast For we weren’t meant to be hidden, nor to be displayed only on shelves No more tricks under the sleeves, this is our moment! We deserve everything we build behind our wall, But I think it would be more exciting to live our own moment. Step by step, through the storms and earthquakes we won’t fall! All we need is one greatest vision, to start this all! I may be wrong, but the more I believe the more I see it all! Dreams are achievable, just take my hand it’s our call Time to make our destiny come true, thus fate doesn’t stall. This is where we’ll stand our ground and walk the park No more imagining, it’s time we take action and light it up! One by one, we’ll see a better sky beyond the dark. Let’s go and live this time; to make the world better and never stop!
