Serving a False God Or the True God?
We often read about the Israelites in the Bible.
They rejected God and
made a false idol.
Forsaking the true God who
brought them from Egypt..
False worship from this land,
they decided to “keep it.”.
After Moses went up to the mountain,
they formed a golden calf.
The true God who saved them,
they mocked and laughed.
The wrath and fury of the true
God soon prevailed!
The false image of a calf
was worshiped, but FAILED!
Are you serving the true God?
Or one made by human hands?
Do you seek the glory of God?
Or the perversion of this land?
God has given to us all his commands.
We must obey them!
God gives us scripture to live by,
and not just say them!
This same God of Moses is the same one
who lives today!
Listen to his voice! And the words
he has to say!
Don’t serve a false God, but the God of creation!
Won’t you come now and receive his gift of salvation?
