Love Poem: Serendipity

Serendipity

We met deep in silence
          No sweet-speak required
               'Neath a mist-mottled moon
And the mood it inspired ...

So drawn to each other
          Like magnets to ore
               A nuked conflagration
     Fast-melting our core ...

Delved each other's eyes
          And warm flesh, in turn
               Through a visceral shiver
Too cold not to burn ...

Mixed feverish touches
          And mouths tangy-hot
               Desires swirled deeper
Our limbs in a knot ...

Such a scorching inferno
          Such fierce, torrid flame
Such an odd thing that you ...
Never asked for ... my name.
