Love Poem: Sensitivity To Music

Sensitivity To Music

My eardrums respond to the vibration,
Sending it down my spine, a slow tickling sensation.
A pattern of a basketball coats my skin;
I close my eyes and I begin to spin . . .
The opening of my soul expands.
Energy pulsing out through my hands.
Insignificant memories migrate like birds,
Seconds before the oblivion of words.
"I'll never forget who you are and who you were."
Now your face is just one in a crowded blur.
Laughing, crying, and screaming out loud!
Do I deserve to die in a cloud?
I cannot stop picking up the signal tune.
This emotion ends too soon.
