Sending My Love
I never had a better friend than you,
and now you're gone it's hard to find
the strength to go on day to day;
this loss is always on my mind.
We bonded from the day we met;
a friendship that would never die -
but cancer took my truest friend,
and memories just make me cry.
I'm writing this to send my love
and pray my words may soar to you;
I know some day we'll chat again -
til then, that thought will help me through.
