Love Poem: Self Love

Self Love

As I am raging out of my chrysalis,
I can feel my soul and wings calling.
The feeling of entrapment and anxiety drawing,
Like a loud monster screaming and falling.

My days of hardship and loves cries,
All of these dark days will not suffice.
I want to move in love's touch not of despair,
Only my Lord God can take me there.

My magnitude of Peace will gravitate in,
My wings will flourish once again.
A beauty so tranquil and fluorescent,
There's no way one's eyes could contest it.

It's my day of glory and peace,
My astonishing way of release.
Self-love, yes who would have guessed it,
My wonderful life, God has blessed it.

Self-love, everyone should protect it,
Sometime we forget when we are neglected.
There is only one who can project it,
Self, self-love, it's only you that must respect it!
