Love Poem: Seize Each Day

Seize Each Day

All my love, you ask--it's permissible you know--
To dream together futures of us two, which lay maintained with sweet accord.
Realities hit hard. Fantasies, the cravings of the mind, can waylay.
Spreading your heart on endless whims for now defies life’s purpose.
Headstrong imaginings held ever so tightly makes one’s spirit fade away
Oh, realm of disappointment—be wise, know thyself. Think not just on gain.
Wisdom becomes in time, with correct decisions, eternally.
Earth life passes too quickly. Seize the day; let’s love right choices, every one.
