Love Poem: Seasons

Seasons

Spring starts off this NEW year.
Blossomed flowers everyday.
Sweet and cool hugs.
Smooth and fresh kisses.
A love so young.
Spring, you’re so kind.
Butterflies dancing in me.
Enchanting and wonderful.
Time moves quickly.
Getting a little frisky now, but still respectful.

Turning into summer.
You grow hot and passionate.
Romance followed by lust.
Intense and wrapping affection.
Holding me tight, not letting me go.
Your whispers of sweet nothings,
a refreshing breeze touching my heart,
giving me an escape from realization.
Summer will soon be over.

You’ve become fall.
Flowers wither away,
trees grow naked,
branches spread apart.
Your passion fades
Your air grows demanding of me.
Hands in our pockets
our bodies covered up.
Fall, your heat is faded and going away.
But I am not the one has turned cold, you are.

You are now winter.
You are here but not with me.
I shiver and curl up alone.
Your aggressive change makes me run away from you.
Hugs turned from sweet and warm to cold and mean.
Flowers and romance a memory in history
Making your love a seasonal mystery.
