Love Poem: Seasoned To Please

Seasoned To Please

Her big brown eyes,
hold so much pain,
reliving the agony,
once again.
Footsteps of many,
upon her path,
how did this happen,
a reminder of her past.
Violated so young,
now a way of life,
the many that came,
in the dark of night.
They paid her bills,
even bought her clothes,
but the damage done,
how could they know.
A future so dim,
as the years pass by,
she wanted more,
this lady of the night.
Seasons they come,
and seasons go,
but a lovers commitment,
she has never known.
Still she waits,
for that special one,
a lover to stay,
not a thief that runs.
Seasoned to please,
maybe she is,
but deserving of love,
and a goodnight kiss.
