Love Poem: Seasonal

Seasonal

Spring dances to rhythms in my head
As I slip into the forest to rest on nature’s bed
Looking skyward, branches cloak me
As the breeze dances upon my bosom
Enticing me seductively

The musky scent of earth is upon your lips
As I shield my eyes from the sun’s kiss
Golden clouds are brushed across the sky
Their tresses dipping low in the horizon
Where the ravens cry

A ripple flows from an unseen stream
Where a flower grows, curious thing
A tulip will blossom on this very night
Asking desperately for a lover to enter
Summer ends winter’s fight

As my head claims a moss pillow
I am caressed by an overhead willow
Tenderly touching the conscious state
Of my body heaving toward you
In the hands of fate

A deathly chill has quickly moved in
Exploding on my face with an evil grin
Fall holds this devil weakly at bay
So that I may enjoy your pleasure
One more day
