Love Poem: Sarah

Sarah

Not once have I felt,
the way that I do.
From simply just being,
in the same room as you.
You make me feel, like a teenager again.
And when our eyes meet
well, well that's when.
That's when I feel the tingly feeling begin.
it's when the butterflies all settle in.
and when I feel my heart beat,
beating faster within.
I almost feel nervous
but so soothing I find you to be.
And then into your eyes,
the most amazing, thing I see.

You see, from a ways back they're a beautiful soft brown.
But, then I take a step, closer to you
and then, that's when.
They turn a gorgeous deep blue.
And your smile that it starts, in slow motion sweetly.
Or maybe it's just, that time slows down for me.
And then I catch your scent,
just the littlest bit.
And oh, how so, I'm carried away by it.
You're so pleasant to be near,
your voice so lovely to hear,
and when thinking of you, well everything seems clear.

You make me smile, make me laugh.
Make me feel, well it's hard to explain.
Hey you know that first bit of sun,
just after the rain?
I'm sure you've seen me staring,
once or twice or so.
So there's no harm in sharing,
and I thought I'd let you know.
That not once have I felt,
the way that I do.
From simply just sitting,
in a seat next to you.
