Love Poem: Ripples In the Water

Ripples In the Water

A life without you
like a dawn without dew.
Love without you,
love not so true.

A ripple that grew
was the ripple that blew.
A ripple so brief
a ripple of disbelief
a ripple that died
hurting our pride.

Sit by my side
where we cried
let things slide
and set love aside.

I'll show you the moon
as lotus flowers bloom
in view of my pond
where you belong.

Hiding beneath a leaf
a ripple of belief
a ripple so brief
but a ripple of relief.

We will go to the lake
memories will awake
we'll sing our song
and renew our bond.

I'll throw in a pebble
a ripple will treble
a ripple will ride
a ripple will guide.

I'll bow in a glide
ask you to be my bride.
