Riddle

How can you be a diamond in disguise,
When you're the sparkle in every man's eyes?
Did you simply misspeak,
Or is this crustacean description more deep?
More inscrutable than a mathematical conundrum,
Is this 5'5" spit fiya that has become my sweet problem.
I think I've solved the riddle Lynore,
By plunging into the depths of your core.
At first, "diamond in disguise" sounded ridiculous,
Until I peeled back the platinum shell that is so lustrous,
And unveiled something even brighter.
As I bask in the warmth of its fire,
Radiating from the 50-carat diamond that is your heart,
I feel blessed to be illuminated by its goodness that chases away the dark.
I realize the sparkling shell is but a transitory distraction,
The inner diamond is the true source of my permanent attraction.
